Ahead of the band's Sincerely Yours comeback and farewell tour set for this summer, Los Angeles-raised Soul Punx letlive. announced a last-minute, incredibly intimate show at an all ages SoCal venue near and dear to the band, Chain Reaction. The Anaheim, CA destination has been home to many SoCal bands' humble beginnings, remaining one of the last few, all ages stages anywhere.
Hosting all of 250-ish people lucky enough to sweat it out with the band, Chain Reaction quickly hit capacity on a Sunday to see letlive. mark their return to the stage for the first time since 2017. A tune-up of sorts, the set comprised a career-spanning 15 songs, of which sourced mostly from the band's beloved full lengths, Fake History and The Blackest Beautiful.
Roaring on essentials like "Muther", "Renegade 86'" and "Banshee (Ghost Fame)" the energy in the room transcended that of a intimate club show to become something much more spiritual. This was ritual, both for the band on the stage getting reacquainted with the music and the fans on the floor experiencing letlive. live - some for the first time ever.
Closing the show with an encore that included an especially rare performance of "Empty Elvis" and a farewell in "Day 54", the trio of Jeff Sahyoun, Jean Nascimento and Jason Aalon Butler completed the warm-up with the kind of walk off that felt like letlive. never left.
The 'Sincerely Yours' tour for letlive. begins with an appearance at The Vans Warped Tour on June 14th and 15th in Washington D.C. before the band travels abroad for European festival season as well as a series of Australian dates. The band then begins their final stretch of headlining plays with Sage Webber of Point North on drums and Skyler Acord of Issues on bass.
